Welcome to the HS2 Talent Community

HS2 is one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure programmes, and their people play a vital role in shaping how it is delivered. Everyone at HS2 contributes to setting high standards and expectations, which is why they invest in developing colleagues at every level.  They have created a dedicated leadership framework to support and develop their people — helping them build the skills and behaviours needed to succeed in a complex, high-impact environment.

Developing Leadership and Their Values

HS2’s culture is built around four core values:
• Safety
• Respect
• Integrity
• Leadership
These values guide how they work, how decisions are made, and how teams collaborate.

How Candidates Are Assessed

Their values and behavioural framework forms a key part of the recruitment process.  This means they look beyond experience to understand how candidates work — ensuring behaviours align with the values that define HS2.
